YEAR 2000 COMPLIANCE
 

Privateer, Ltd. assures its customers and suppliers that it shall function as "business as usual" on January 1, 2000.

We have evaluated all systems utilized in manufacturing product, providing information, billing and services.  These systems include accounting, manufacturing/production/warehousing, human resources, customer support and product delivery (incoming and outgoing).

We are monitoring all suppliers to ensure a noninterrupted flow of materials.  Our primary suppliers and support have already advised, in writing, that they are, or shall be, Y2K compliant in 1999.

Privateer’s Computer Network and its auxiliary digital equipment have been evaluated by outside consultants.  We determined a requirement to upgrade both our Hardware and Software (partly for Y2K compliance and partly to achieve the advantages now available from today’s state of the art.)

The replacement of Hardware was completed in November, 1998.  It has been tested by outside consultants and is functioning properly.

Part of our Software upgrade was installed and tested also in November, 1998, making Privateer’s systems Y2K compliant.

Our EDI and Electronic Mail systems are also Y2K compliant.

We are confident that we shall enter the new Millenium with the excellence of quality and service we have provided in the past.
